A Journey Through Sacred History

The Sacred Route

Among the Sacred Sites You Will Visit

Your private chauffeur will take you to each sacred site, giving you the time and space to reflect, pray, and connect with the blessed history of Makkah at your own pace.

1
Ghar-e-Thawr
غار ثور

The cave on Mount Thawr where the Prophet ﷺ and Abu Bakr (RA) took refuge for three nights during the Hijrah. “Do not grieve; indeed, Allah is with us.” (Qur’an 9:40)

2
Masjid-e-Nimrah
مسجد نمرة

Located at the boundary of Arafat where the Prophet ﷺ delivered his Farewell Khutbah on the Day of Arafah. The combined Dhuhr and Asr prayers of Hajj are performed here.

3
Midan-e-Arafat
ميدان عرفات

The vast plains where the Wuquf — the standing of Hajj — takes place on the 9th of Dhul Hijjah. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Al-Hajj is Arafat.” One of the greatest acts of worship in Islam.

4
Jabal-e-Rahmah
جبل الرحمة

The Hill of Mercy rising from the plains of Arafat — said to be where Adam and Hawa (AS) were reunited after their descent from Paradise. A site of deep supplication and divine mercy.

5
Muzdalifah
المزدلفة

The sacred open plain between Arafat and Mina where pilgrims spend the night following Wuquf and collect pebbles for the Rami of Jamarat. Maghrib and Isha prayers are combined here.

6
Mina
منى

The City of Tents — where pilgrims stay during the days of Tashreeq and perform the stoning of the Jamarat. Deeply connected to the trial and sacrifice of Sayyiduna Ibrahim (AS).

7
Masjid-e-Ji’ranah
مسجد الجعرانة

Where the Prophet ﷺ donned ihram for Umrah after the Battle of Hunayn. One of the Miqat points for those already within Makkah wishing to perform Umrah.

8
Ghar-e-Hira
غار حراء

The blessed cave on Jabal al-Nour where the first revelation of the Quran descended upon the Prophet ﷺ through Jibreel (AS). The word “Iqra” echoed here for the first time.

9
Jannat-ul-Mu’alla
جنة المعلى

The ancient cemetery of Makkah — resting place of Sayyidah Khadijah (RA), the Prophet’s ﷺ beloved first wife, his grandfather Abdul Muttalib, and members of the blessed family.

10
Masjid-e-Jinn
مسجد الجن

Built at the site where a group of Jinn listened to the Quran recited by the Prophet ﷺ and embraced Islam — as mentioned in Surah Al-Jinn (72:1). A reminder of Islam’s universal message.

11
Masjid-e-Shajarah
مسجد الشجرة

Also known as Masjid Dhul Hulayfah — the Miqat for pilgrims from Madinah and the most distant Miqat from Makkah. Pilgrims don their ihram here before the sacred journey begins.

“Whoever performs Hajj for the sake of Allah and does not utter any obscene speech or do any evil deed, will go back as his mother bore him.”

Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) — Sahih Bukhari 1521
